MAC Cosmetics, Studio Fix, 
Art Director

Campaign film for Studio Fix, MAC's largest franchise and a key driver of the business. The choreography draws on Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker and Yvonne Rainer: repetition and everyday gesture. An unlikely reference for a foundation film.The set is raw wood, unfinished and warm, holding the range of natural tones the product works in. Vertical screens sit between the camera and the dancer, blurring them as they move behind — a metaphor for exactly what the foundation does: blur imperfections.
